I am sitting in my surrogate office (helping fill in at another location) bored out of my mind when I received an email telling of a friend's new Blog site, which has led me to create my own. This is actually a much better way of passing the time rather than playing Freecell or surfing the internet for things I shouldn't be buying nor can afford to buy - new car, camping equipment and trips to exotic lands. Anyway I was thinking of things to share or rant about and decided hey why not share some of my Haikus. In the last year or so I have been dabbling with the art of Haiku and I've come up with a few that at least my girlfriend pardon me my fiance has liked, she has urged me to try and publish them on the web but I never got around to it, so why not do it here. I started doing the Haikus when a friend asked me to write a poem for her company brochure and to help pass the time at work when I didn't feel like doing anything and I didn't want to go home early so here is a little sampling some of my work.

Work cannot be done
Screen frozen, mouse does not not move
Control, Alt, Delete

Quick and easy fix
Fulfills the hunger within
Extra value meal

Long, loud, piercing scream
Penetrates the inner soul
Answer the call
