I cannot even begin to express the emotional roller coaster that I have been on this past week, my wife and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary and we have to find a new place to live because our building has been sold. I have lived in our present location for 24 years. The selling of the building does not come as a surprise but I did not realize that 1.) it would sell so quickly and 2.) that I would get so emotional. I have always deemed myself a resilient person who could welcome change and take on any of life's road bumps but man this is one of the hardest things that I have ever had to endure.

This was my parents first home purchase their piece of the Americana, my most impressionable years were spent in this house - I graduated from elementary school, high school, and college, joined and came home from the Army and got married, I even proposed to my wife in one of the apartments. Wow!

On the bright side my wife and I will be forced to reevaluate our belongings and see what it is we really should and can take with us which will stream line our lives and my parents will be residing in a lovely low maintenance condo that is closer to their grandson.
